In home resurfacing & repair of baths, basins, tiles, vanities & showers

After many years of constant use, when the enamel has worn thin, the bath has to be completely resurfaced. Resurfacing will leave the bath looking like new with a smooth, shiny and extremely durable new finish.

We can resurface all types of baths, basins, tiles, vanities and showers. A saving of around 70% can be achieved by resurfacing when you consider the cost of purchasing new bathware, re-tiling, re-plumbing and labour. The work will take between 4 and 5 hours and your newly resurfaced bath will be ready for use in 24 hours.

Large holes in baths, basins etc can be repaired and then resurfaced so they are not noticeable. There is a large range of reconstructive work that can be done. Talk to us before replacing damaged fixtures.

If a bath has been resurfaced or painted before, the old surface will need to be stripped off, by us, before resurfacing can begin.

In home repairs

We repair all types of damaged, chipped and stained bathroom surfaces including

Where a small area has been damaged, the Mend-a-Bath process can repair that area and colour match it so that it is not noticeable.

Stain removal & polishing

This process can be used on a number of different surfaces, which have not worn too thin, or have not been to seriously damaged. If the surface has discoloured or been lightly scratched, then our stain removal and polishing process will extend the life of the bath.

Slip resist

A special tread pattern is put into the bottom of the bath while it is being resurfaced. For porcelain on steel baths that are in good condition, a special treatment will increase the non-slip nature of the surface.
