The restoration process

The process involved in restoring an antique clawfoot bath requires many hours and is complex.

On the outside the bath is ground, neutralized, filled, undercoated and topcoated to a spectacular finish.

The inside goes through a process of sanding, acid washing and filling before it is coated with our specialised bath enamel, producing a smooth and shiny surface.

Colour coordination

We are able to co-ordinate the inside/outside of your bath to the colour of your choice. Feet can be painted a different colour to contrast with the outside, or electroplated chrome.
